Charles Edward Theile February 22, 1934 - August 11, 2024

Charles Edward Theile, 90, passed away on August 11, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on February 22, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Charles attended Hughes High School then enlisted in the Navy, serving 4 years. He served most of his time aboard the USS Gilmore AS-16. Charles was also a member of Carson Lodge F&AM. He married Charlotte Louise Reinschmidt on July 3, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Charles was very active in establishing a paramedic program in Parana, Brazil. They enjoyed many trips and friends in Brazil. He worked at The Cincinnati Fire Department and Schulhoff Tool Rental.  In his spare time, he enjoyed eating cookies with his family. Charles was preceded in death by his brother Bob and two sisters, Phyllis and Ann. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Charlotte, their three children Cathy (Tim) Woodlock, Daniel (Kim) Theile, Douglas (Debbie) Theile and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Private family services will be held at a later date.
